The aim of chinuch.org.uk is as follows:
to link Jewish learning with Jewish living.
The website is non-denominational, though progressive in outlook, and you will find that different text studies and learning resources have different approaches to subjects, be it theology, halakha (Jewish law), ideology, spirituality etc.
The site is maintained by Rabbi Neil Janes, who has worked for many years in Jewish education. Neil has a BA (Joint Honours) in Psychology and Education and an MA (with distinction) in Hebrew and Jewish studies. He was ordained by the Leo Baeck College in 2006. He is the rabbi for Finchley Progressive Synagogue, a wonderful community. He set up chinuch.org.uk in 2003 whilst studying in Israel.
